GUIDANCE:

It is a busy week for University/College visits. Today: University of Alberta at 10:20 a.m. and St. Thomas at 1:30 p.m. Tomorrow NBCC – must sign up in the Guidance Area. Thursday: Dalhousie University at 12:30 pm. Friday: UNB at 12:30. All visits happen in the Workroom!

EVENTS:

Attention all Grade 9’s! Mark your calendars for October 11^th as you will be having your first event as the Grade Class of 2022. Grade 9 night is right after school. Stop by to enjoy some fun games and to share a few laughs with each other!

Attention all grads!!! Book off October 17^th as this is the night of Fall Feast. This will be semi-formal Fall Dinner starting at 6:30 and going to 8:30. Admission for those with last names starting with A – M is main course and N –Z is dessert. Hope to see everyone.

CLUBS – TEAMS

Cyber Titan Practice times change this week. Today at lunch and Wednesday after school. New members welcome!

Attention Reach for the Top Players: There will be a mandatory meeting for all Reach for the Top Players today at 12:30 in Room 228. Practice will follow. There is also a practice after school for all players.

MUSIC - DRAMA – THEATRE – ART

Attention Blue Tones members: Tomorrow’s rehearsal will be for the Baritone section only. We will meet at 3:45 in the rehearsal room.

SPORTS

Huge Congratulations goes out to the Girls’ softball team for placing first in Regionals this weekend! After defeating Leo Hayes 10 – 0 and Harbour View 10 – 5, they earned a spot in this weekend’s Provincials as the first place team from the South West. Awesome job ladies and good luck in the provincials on Saturday!

Congrats to the KVHS Golf Team n on Friday. Nick Ritchie had the lowest score for KVHS. Other members of the team are Carter Hierlihy, Keegan Miller, Cole Pender, Jackson Andrews and Marcus Vaillancourt.

The Girls’ Hockey Tryouts continue tonight at the QPlex from 6:15 – 7:45. Reminder to girls to fulfill all sport responsibilities before attending the tryouts.
