​Sports:

The JV Girls Basketball team will practice from 3:00-4:30pm today.

The JV Boys basketball team will practice on Tuesday & Thursday from 3:00-4:30pm

The Varsity Girls basketball team will practice on Tuesday from 4:30-6:00pm and again on Friday from 3:00-4:30pm.

Congratulations to the Varsity Boys basketball team on their first exhibition game of the season – thank you to everyone who made it possible. The team will practice on Wednesday from 3:00-4:30pm.

In Intramural action: 8 Burkett and 8 Crowther will be in the gym from 12:10 – 12:30.

Music:

The Music Room is open today for band students who would like to practice.

From the Art Room:

Gr. 8 Portrait Club

Today is the last chance for Gr. 8 students to sign up for the ‘Portrait Club’ on the list outside the art room.  For those who have signed up, we will have our first organizational meeting tomorrow (Tuesday!) in the art room during the second half of lunch from 12:10 – 12:30. 

QMS Variety Show – ANY students interested in having their artwork featured in the QMS Variety Show are invited to stop by the art room to sign up and have their work photographed. Please note that this is the final week to submit artwork.  

ArtsSmarts Club meets today after school in the Art Room.  Please bring your paint shirts with you!

Other:

Cafeteria note that their last day for online orders will be next Tuesday, Dec. 21st and that any orders that had been placed for the 22nd and 23rd have been cancelled and refunded.

Students are reminded that there is to be no grabbing of hats, etc. while outside. Doing so is not keeping your hands / feet to yourself. 

Walkers should be leaving the school grounds immediately at the dismissal bell and not be hanging around the school.
