​Announcements for Monday, October 25/21

Grade 6 is on the Basketball Court this week, grades 7 and 8 are on the field. Reminder to keep hands and feet to self. No physical contact. This includes everything from taking someone's hat to rough play to pushing / pulling / punching. Also, keep in mind that crutches are not toys and are to be used only by the person they have been provided to. 

Sports:

The Varsity Boys soccer team ended their regular season in a 0 -0 tie against Hampton on Friday. The team finished 3^rd in regular season. The Varsity  Boys soccer team will travel to Harry Miller in the semi finals on the Arthur Miller upper field tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 4pm.

Good luck to the Varsity Girls soccer team as they host Hampton Middle school today at 4pm in the district semi finals.

Good luck to the JV Boys soccer team as they host The district semi finals on Wednesday at 4pm.

A HUGE thank-you to our QMS Cougars – students and staff!!!

First, thanks to your diligent efforts to collect used cardboard, we now have enough cardboard gathered for the Gr. 8 ArtsSmarts Project!!! If you have cardboard her, we’ll happily accept it but no need to bring more from home.

And another huge thanks goes out to all the helpers who have been busy measuring and cutting cardboard squares!  Within a few more days, we should reach our target, and we couldn’t have done it without many, many people working together to get this accomplished.

Grade 8 students are invited to order an orange t-shirt online to wear when installing our epic ArtsSmarts project. Orders are being accepted online via cashless schools until Wednesday at noon.
