The right honorable Adrienne Clarkson came to Canada from Hong Kong in 1942. 

In 1999, Adrienne Clarkson became the Governor General, known for promoting compassion throughout Canada. Ms Clarkson fostered the rights of both Indigenous people, and LGBTQ+ rights. 

If you know about an amazing Asian Canadian from your own heritage, please bring it to Mr. Stu so we can all hear about it.
