CAFETERIA - ON THE MENU TODAY:  BBQ Flatbread with salad.  Meat Lasagna.
GUIDANCE - Staff and students are invited on Wednesday, February 24th to wear a pink shirt to raise awareness about bullying.  We encourage everyone to practice kindness and wear pink to symbolize that you do not tolerate bullying.
SPRING SPORTS -      Anyone interested in playing a Spring sport is asked to listen carefully.  All Spring sports will be ready to start shortly after March Break. Being offered thus far are the following.    Jr G Volleyball, Jr B Volleyball, Sr G Volleyball,  Sr B Volleyball, Boys Touch Rugby, Girls Touch Rugby, and Badminton.
If you are interested in trying out for any of these sports, you must use the Sign-Up Genius page created by the school, in order for us to plan these tryouts effectively. An email will be sent home with the links to the sign ups.
MATH CONTEST -A reminder to all students who signed up to write the Pascal, Caley or Fermat Waterloo math contest that it is taking place tomorrow during advisory and period 2. You should have confirmed by now with Mrs. Baker if you are writing in person or via teams. 
CanHack registration is open. What is CanHack? It’s the largest cybersecurity hacking competition for middle and high school students. Participants 13 years and older of all skill levels are encouraged to compete. Competitors must reverse-engineer, break, hack, decrypt, and think creatively and critically to solve the challenges and capture the digital flags. See Mrs. LeBlanc in Room 285 if you would like to represent KVHS. You can compete alone or in teams of up to 5.  The series of games can be played anytime between March 16 and March 30. Practice platform is available now.
 
GRAD EVENT - A decision regarding the Grad Class Outdoor activity which was scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday will be made at 3:30 today.  Presently there are not enough people to run the event.  If you were waiting on signing up, please go ahead and do so by 3:00 this afternoon.  If the event is running, the times will be from 6:00 – 7:30.
Sock and Mask driveThe Renaissance Sock and Mask Drive has been EXTENDED!  Please bring in new socks and masks to Advisory by  Wednesday, February 24 – The Advisory that collects the most wins a Prize!
Attention Reach Players - Grade 9 and 10 players practice in Mr. Thorne's room at lunch.  Seniors practice in Mrs. Iwata's room at lunch and Mr. Brideau's room after school.
Yearbook -  Grad write up for the Yearbook are due February 26th.  Please email them to Ms. Smith in Room 124.
RENAISSANCE - Could all members of Renaissance please met on Thursday, February 25th at 12:30.  Students last names A to L will meet in Mrs. Wright’s room, Room 136 and last names M to Z via Teams.  New members are always welcome.
