Grad Clothing – Grad clothes need to be ordered on-line before end of October.  Go to KVHS Instagram or website for link to Esty’s.  Get your clothes before its too late.

Debating Club – If there are students interested in getting a Debating Club started, meet with Mrs. Toner TODAY at Lunch.  Come to Room 004 (under the library).  You are welcome to bring your lunch.

Dance Team – Dance Team are holding Auditions on Tuesday, September 21ist in the Mini Gym from 3:45 to 5:00.

GSA will meet in Mrs. Flower’s room, Room 404, at lunch time today.  New and returning students are welcome!

Music – The playing of wind instruments has been put on hold in our district until at least the end of next week so band rehearsals will not be able to begin next Monday as planned.  Stay tuned for our new startup date!

Sports - The Jr Girls soccer team tied Rothesay High last night, Congrats Team!!

A strong start to the season for your Senior Girls soccer team defeating Harbourview High last night with a score of 4-0.  Scoring for KV were Meghan Whalen and Mya Medford with one a piece and Anita Johnson with two while Isabel Tanfara recorded her first shut out of the season.  Congratulations team well played! 

Tough loss suffered by our Jr Boys soccer team, as they ended up on the wrong end of a 6-5 game vs Rothesay High.

Today is the deadline to register for hockey tryouts. They start next week. Please take the time to email one of the Girls or Boys coaches to inform them of your intentions. Emails can be found outside the library or by the gym.

Reminder that KVHS hosting a field hockey tournament on our back field tonight and tomorrow; come and cheer on the girls.

Also, a reminder that the baseball team has a game at the field off the highway at 1 tomorrow and that the softball team is also playing at Meenan's Cove Field at 2.

Finally, good luck the Football team who travels to Moncton High tonight in hopes to bring up their record to a perfect 2 and 0. Could teachers please excuse team members at 3:15, as they need to catch the bus?

Reach for the Top - Attention grade 9 students. Do you like trivia, and online quiz games?  If you do, the KVHS Reach for the Top team is for you!   

Any students interested in joining the Reach team can come to room 228 at lunch today to learn how to play. Bring your lunch and come check out a great activity!
