GUIDANCE - Staff and students are invited on Wednesday, February 24th to wear a pink shirt to raise awareness about bullying.  We encourage everyone to practice kindness and wear pink to symbolize that you do not tolerate bullying.
SPRING SPORTS -   Anyone interested in playing a Spring sport is asked to listen carefully.  All Spring sports will be ready to start shortly after March Break. Being offered thus far are the following.    Jr G Volleyball, Jr B Volleyball, Sr G Volleyball, Sr B Volleyball, Boys Touch Rugby, Girls Touch Rugby, and Badminton.
If you are interested in trying out for any of these sports, you must use the Sign-Up Genius page created by the school, in order for us to plan these tryouts effectively. An email will be sent home with the links to the sign ups.
CanHack registration is open. What is CanHack? It’s the largest cybersecurity hacking competition for middle and high school students. Participants 13 years and older of all skill levels are encouraged to compete. Competitors must reverse-engineer, break, hack, decrypt, and think creatively and critically to solve the challenges and capture the digital flags. See Mrs. LeBlanc in Room 285 if you would like to represent KVHS. You can compete alone or in teams of up to 5.  The series of games can be played anytime between March 16 and March 30. Practice platform is available now.
GRAD EVENT –Due to the forecasted +4C Temperature and rain, we have opted to move the Grad Class Outdoor Activity night to March 11th at 6:00 p.m.  Sign up information will be emailed to Grads and their parents when we return from March Break.  Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
Sock and Mask drive – The Renaissance Sock and Mask Drive has been EXTENDED!  Please bring in new socks and masks to Advisory by Wednesday, February 24 – The Advisory that collects the most wins a Prize!
Yearbook - Grad write up for the Yearbook are due February 26th.  Please email them to Ms. Smith in Room 124.
RENAISSANCE - Could all members of Renaissance please met on Thursday, February 25th at 12:30.  Students last names A to L will meet in Mrs. Wright’s room, Room 136 and last names M to Z via Teams.  New members are always welcome.
Attention Reach for the Top players: Grade 9 and 10 junior players practice in room 228 at lunch and in room 109 after school.  Seniors play online after school.
