Hi everyone,

It’s Lisa Jardine calling from Leatherbarrow Primary with a Tuesday talk mail.  

This week, students are painting the ornaments that will be used to decorate the trail for our Winter Wonderland Walk. We hope, next week, your family will take a walk together on the trail behind our school and enjoy the beautiful artwork created by your children.

Also next week, we are having our 3^rd annual whole school holiday turkey dinner! We were worried it might be cancelled due to Covid restrictions, but we have received permission from Public Health and the District to do a take-out version of this tradition. Thanks to the students and staff at Hampton High School, kindergarten students will have their dinner on Tuesday, Grade 1 students will have their dinner on Wednesday, and Grade 2 students and all of Miss Shelley’s class will have their dinner on Thursday. Thanks to the generous donations of Saputo, Kredls and Home and School, all students will receive a dinner of turkey, potatoes, corn, a cookie and milk free of charge.
