Athletics

·        The Boys Varsity Volleyball Team were sadly defeated 3 sets to 0 by QMS yesterday.  Shout out to Grady Folkins for his great play and positive attitude!

·        The Girls Varsity Volleyball team were also defeated yesterday 3 sets to 2 by Sussex Middle School.  It was a very close match.  Great effort girls.

On the Go Today:

·         JV girls’ volleyball team travels to Belleisle for a 4PM game.

·         Varsity Boys and Varsity Girls Volleyball Teams practice today from 3-4:30pm.

 

On the Go Today:

·        Flag Football tryouts today at noon, 2nd half for any female athletes who may be interested in being part of a girls varsity or co-ed junior varsity team!

 

Other:

·       Dr. Leatherbarrow chess club are to meet in the lobby at 11:20 today.

·       Guitar club is happening today in Mr. Hebert’s room at lunch.

·       Go Girls group go to room 304 at the start of period 2.

Athletics

·        JV girls’ volleyball team were defeated yesterday 3 sets to 1 by MCS! Great effort girls

On the Go Today:

·         Varsity Boys’ Volleyball team host QMS today, game time is 4PM.  Mr. Throop needs 2 scorekeepers, please see him by noon if you are interested.

·         Varsity Girls volleyball team travel to Sussex Middle School for 4pm game today.

·         Running club with Mr. John Herron is on the go tonight, beginning at 7pm and running until 8pm.  Please meet Mr. Herron in front of the school doors by 7pm to join the group!

 

On the Go Today:

·        Flag Football tryouts today at noon, 2nd half for anyone in grade 8.

 

Other:

·         Attention Cast and Crew of “Typecast”, there will be a rehearsal during the first half of lunch for the cast in Miss Mark’s room.  There will also be a rehearsal afterschool for the Cast and Crew.

·         Guitar Club tomorrow at lunch hour in Mr. Hebert’s room.

·         Garden club today, second half of lunch in the tech club

·        Varsity Girl’s Volleyball team defeated Sussex Middle School 3 sets to 1.

·        Mrs. Prosser will be working with the JV Girls Volleyball Team on serving first half of lunch today.

On the Go Today:

·        JV Girl’s Volleyball team travels to MCS today for a game at 4pm.

·        The JV Boys and Varsity Boys Volleyball Teams practice from 3-4:30 pm

·        The Varsity Girl’s Volleyball team practices from 4:30-6PM

 

On the Go Today:

·        Flag Football tryouts today at noon, 2nd half for anyone in grade 7.

 

Other:

·        Pay it forward day will be this Friday, April 26th.  Pay it forward day is a worldwide celebration designed to inspire people everywhere to do international acts of kindness that lasts long after the day is over.  Mr. Goobie is looking for a few students to help organize and coordinate some of the activities so if you are interested, please let him know!

·         Rehearsal after school today in the theater for the cast and crew of “Typecast

·       JV Boys Volleyball team defeated RPS 3 sets to 0!  Great job boys.

·       Varsity Girls Volleyball team host Harry Miller today for a 4PM game.  Mr. Throop will be looking for 2 score keepers.  Please see him by break if you are interested.

·       Last night the varsity boys defeated RPS 3 sets to 1.  Jack Moran had a strong defensive game with 17 serves and 7 strong digs.  David Hollett had 12 hits for a fantastic offensive game.

Athletics

·         The varsity girls Volleyball team defeated 3 sets to 1 pm Friday by Harry Miller.  The games were super close.

·         The Varsity Girls Volleyball team also attended a tournament at Fundy High School this Saturday.  The Girls came home with a Bronze Medal and played fantastic!  Great Job.

·         The Varsity Boys volleyball team defeated SMS 3 sets to 0 on Friday.  Shout out to Logan Cameron who served 14 points in a row in the 2nd set and to Kyle Steeves on his great play!

·         The Boys and Girls JV Volleyball Teams host QMS today for 4pm games. Mr. Throop needs 4 score keepers for these games.  If you are interested, please see him by noon.

·         The Varsity boy’s volleyball team practice from 5:15-6:30 pm today.

·         There is a rehearsal after school today for the cast and crew of “Typecast” in the theatre.

·         Miss Evan’s class is on Cafeteria Duty this week.

·         World Autism Awareness month is observed in April each year.  It is aimed at educating the public about Autism, dispelling myths, and stereotypes, encouraging acceptance, and supporting advocacy efforts for improved services.  It’s also a time to celebrate the talents, strengths, and achievements of people with Autism.  Wear “BLUE” tomorrow show support.

·       The Varsity girls were defeated 3 sets to 1 by RPS Wednesday.  Players of the game went to Sophia Siliker, Willa McNamee and Harper May!

·       Varsity Girls Volleyball Team practice 3-4:30 PM

 

In the Gym at Noon 2nd half:

·       Volleyball Game – Grade 6&7 (Max 24 Players)

·       Handball Game – Grade 7&8 (Max 24 Players)

 

Other:

·         A pair of black glasses have been found in the library, if you think they are yours please come to the office to get them.

·         Next Tuesday we are having a fund raiser for the grade 8 trip.  Beards and Bucks, bring $2 and see who will be getting their beard shaved and who is getting their beard dyed. 

·         Marigolds have sprouted!! If your class marigolds are growing in the tech lab, don’t forget to water them!!  A good inch or two on the bottom of the tray will tie them over the weekend!  For the marigolds in classrooms, remember to take the plastic off when they have sprouted!!

·         Rehearsal in theatre today at 12:25 for the cast of Café Murder
