This year,  5 students represented Tantramar Regional High School in the New Brunswick Envirothon competition, where they finished first overall in the competition gainst teams from across the province. Out of the four tests completed, the Titans earned the highest scores in aquatic ecology, wildlife, and forestry, and came in third on the soils test. They received the highest score on a twenty minute oral presentation which focused on the complex topic of agricultural sustainability.

This qualifies the TRHS Team to compete in the 2019 National Conservation Foundation-Envirothon competition, schedule for North Carolina this summer from July 28th to August 2nd. The competition will see teams from Canada, the United States of America, and China competing for the title. he Titans are already hard at work studying in preparation for this competition.

In the summer of 2021, Sackville will e hosting the International Envirothon Competition, so this trip is a great opportunity or the students fto serve as ambassadors for the community.
