HUGE SHOUT OUT to all the students and staff that helped make last night’s dance a success! Many people worked very hard to make it happen and it’s awesome that it was so well attended! Way to go RMS!

Mrs. Horsman is offering a quiet place for students to read Monday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in her classroom (2036) beginning at 12:15.

Reminder to the Boys’ Volleyball team and the Boys’ Division 1 Basketball team will meet at lunch in Mrs. Dixon’s room for their pizza party.

The Girls Basketball Team are asked to bring their jersey and shorts to Mme Gautreau as soon as possible.

Grade 6 Badminton: reminder to sign up in the gym hallway for tryouts! Tryouts will begin next Tuesday, May 3rd afterschool until 4pm, and Thursday May 5th at lunch. Bring your lunch.

The Girls 7/8 Badminton team try-outs will be held next Monday after school until 5 pm.

The Boys 7/8 Badminton team try-outs will be held next Tuesday at lunch and Wednesday after school until 5 pm.

RMS PE Team is excited to inform students that we have partnered with Para NB and they have lent us sports wheel chairs and sledge hockey equipment. Please ensure to respect this equipment. Huge thank you to Para NB from RMS!

Congratulations to our Girls’ Basketball team on winning the Championship finals. The girls went undefeated all season and took home the banner with the victory against Salisbury. The support from the crowd was electric, so thank you to all the RMS students who brought their school spirit. A perfect way to end the season, way to go girls!

Learn to Wrestle

This is a program for all students from grades 3-8 learn an introduction to this sport. As well there are levels for competition and participation in tournaments!!!                            

Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 – 8pm. This program runs March 28 until – May 5th.

Announcements

The Boys Basketball Competitive (Division 1) Team will be posted today at morning break.  The boys Division 1 Team will practice after school on Thursday from 2:45 until 4:15.

 

The Boys that were not chosen for the Competitive (Division 1) Team are invited to participate in one last try-out for the Boys Division 2 Team. All grades are eligible to make this team.  The tryout will take place afterschool on Thursday from 2:45 until 4:15. Vaccines no longer required. 

 

Girls Basketball Team – Please meet Mme. Gautreau in Mrs. Dixon’s classroom at morning break.
