Back to School 2020

Welcome the 2020-2021 school year!

This week we will follow a staggered entry schedule to allow smaller groups and let everyone get used to the new procedures. We will also use a track system to limit how many students are in the school at one time. When you get to school this week, go directly to your homeroom

Here’s the track information and staggered entry schedule:

  • Track A (purple): ADAMS to KILLAM
  • Track B (white): KIM to ZWICKER

Tuesday, Sept 8th

Wednesday, Sept. 9th

Thursday, Sept.10th

Friday, Sept. 11th

Grade 9 Track A

Grade 9 Track B

Grade 10 Track A

Grade 10 Track B

Grade 12 Track A

Grade 12 Track B

Grade 11 Track A

Grade 11 Track B

Here are some friendly reminders:

  • Bring at least one mask. You have to wear a mask on the bus and in all the common areas (hallways, cafeteria, bathrooms, alcoves, etc.). You will not be allowed to come in the school or stay in school if you do not have a mask and refuse to wear it. You will be allowed to remove the mask in the classroom once your teacher informs you that you can.
  • Bring a lunch. The cafeteria is not open until September 14th. Also, take in consideration that the microwaves are not available.
  • Bring a water bottle. You can use the refill part of the fountains.
  • Bring textbooks. If you have textbooks or library books from last school year, please bring them back to your homeroom teacher.

Here are some useful links regarding the back to school plan from the province and MHS:

If you have any questions, contact your homeroom teacher.
