​Prom tickets will be on sale today, next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:35-12:55 in Ms Jardine's room. Tickets are $10.00 each. Guest passes are available at the same time.

Today is the last day for the Breakfast Club and the Cafeteria.  Some hot lunch items will be on sale next week ($1.00-$2.00) by our Parent Fund Raising Committee. 

The last day of school, June 21st is a full day for students.

The grade 6 and 7 dance will take place on Tuesday, June 18th from 6:00-8:00.

​The Lip sync/variety show practice is cancelled today. The next practice will be Monday, June 17th from 3:00-4:00.

Tickets for the prom will be sold today in Ms Jardine's room from 12:35-12:55. Each ticket is $10.00. Guest passes are available at that time. Sales will continue next week on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Intramural Council are asked to meet in front of the office at 12:15 sharp.

​A huge congratulations to the drama team for a fantastic performance last night. The show was funny and very well done. It could not have been possible without the direction of Ms Jardine and Mr Bishop.

​Fitness Frenzy is on again today at 12:15. Come out for a fun workout.

The 3rd annual Crossman Mile will take place on Sunday, June 2nd. This is a 1 mile road race that is open to all youth runners.

A reminder of out Jump Rope for Heart skipping event tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow will be our last collection day. Please bring your envelope and/or $2.00 donation by lunch time tomorrow.

There will be no intramurals tomorrow.

Change in plans LMS. The lip sync/variety show tryouts have been extended a week. They are no longer next Tuesday but the following Tuesday, May 28th at morning and lunch recesses. This gives one more week to practice. Remember that Mrs. Budrow and Mr. Bishop do not need to see perfection but need to see something prepared.

Congratulations to the girl's badminton team for finishing in 3rd place at the district championship.

There will be a grade 6 badminton practice tomorrow from 2:45 - 4:00. A reminder that the grade 6 girl's tournament is this Wednesday at Riverview East School and the boy's tournament is the following Wednesday.

Thank you for all for participating in the Easter Egg Display Contest. It was quite amazing. With all the nickles, dimes, quarters, loonies and toonies donated LMS was able to raise $348.80 for Caileigh's Comfort Care Kits! All together, from donations given from the community over $900.00 was raised. We surpassed our goal of 16 kits and were able to make 21 kits. The $900.00 raised will go to making additional kits! Great job LMS.

Great News! Your caring hearts have touched Greater Moncton. Three superstore locations have donated 150....yes 150 care kits to LMS! This will help hundreds.

This Friday is sleeper's day. Make sure to put your item in your classroom care kit. Also, today the guess the amount of chocoate eggs in the jar continues at lunch time. Any donation will buy you a guess. This Friday, April 26th, the winner will be announced.

A reminder for grade 8 students to get their permission forms signed for Career Day on April 26th.  The consent forms need to be returned by Thursday.

Items needed for the comfort kit: Deodorant, sunscreen, wipes, bar of soap, hand sanitizer, granola bars, gum and shaving cream. Thank you so much for your support. This is a reminder to junior band members that we will have a meeting today during third period.

Did you know that the soup kitchen in Moncton serves an average of 740 meals a day to men, women and children who do not have the means to provide food for themselves. Thanks to all who are participating in Hat Day today. Please make sure to put your item in your homeroom's comfort kit. Next Thursday will be Jersey Day.

The long awaited rock, paper, scissor challenge final is today at morning recess! 6D vs 6F. Who will claim ultimate victory? A reminder that April 26th is only 2 weeks away. Which homeroom will be LMS' first Easter Egg Display Champion? Finally, we have crowned the jellybean champion today. The student guessed 783 jellybeans out of the actual 771.  Starting next week we will continue the guessing game. However, instead of jellybeans the grand prize wil be chocolate eggs!

Thanks again for making a difference and showing that LMS stands for helping others in need!
