​Today is Water Day at Lewisville Middle School.

The grade 8 celebration will be tonight from 6:00-9:00. The grade 8 students need to be at the school by 5:45.

Prom tickets can still be purchased at the door tonight.

​Tomorrow is Water Day (weather permitting). There will also be a BBQ tomorrow at lunch. Hotdogs and hamburgers will be sold for $1.00 each. You will need to bring something to drink and snacks.

Thursday is also Hawaiian Day. Please wear your best Hawaiian outfit.

 

The grade 8 celebration will start at 6:00 pm tomorrow.  Parents are encouraged to attend this evening.

Students will be dismissed at 11:30 on Friday.

Announcements

​Prom tickets are on sale today in Ms Jardine's room from 12:15-12:55. Tickets are $10.00 and will be on sale tomorrow and Thursday as well.

Library books are now due. Please check with your child to see if they owe a book or need to pay to cover the cost of the book.

The breakfast program and cafeteria are closed this week.  We will have a BBQ on Thursday. Hotdogs and hamburgers will be on sale for $1.00 each.

The grade 6 & 7 year end assembly is scheduled for Wednesday at 1:30. Parents are welcome to attend!

Water day is scheduled for Thursday (weather permitting).The new parent committee will be hosting a BBQ of hotdogs and hamburgers.

​There are four yearbooks left. If you are interested, please bring $16.00 to Mrs. Morgan.

Tomorrow is Twin day. Wednesday is 80's theme and Thursday is Hawaiian day.

There is no cafeteria this week but we will have a bbq on Thursday. Hotdogs and Hamburgers will be on sale for $1.00 each.

Please return any outstanding library book.

​The grade 6 & 7 dance is this Thursday.  It is for grade 6 & 7 students only. No guest passes. Any student that is removed from class for disrespectful behaviour will not be invited to the dance.

Prom tickets for the grade 8 students will be on sale today at lunch. Prom is a grade 8 event only. If a grade 8 student wishes to invite a grade 7 student they must get a guest pass from Ms. Jardine.

Grade 8 dragster races will take place in the gym today .

We still have six yearbooks for sale at a cost of $16.00. Please see Mrs. Morgan if you wish to purchase one.

​Prom is a grade 8 only event! If a grade 8 student chooses to invite a grade 7 student they must get a guest pass from Ms. Jardine, and have it approved by the principal and vice-principal. If you have any questions, please ask Ms. Jardine at lunch from 12:15-12:55.

All library books are due tomorrow.

The year end dance for grades 6 & 7 is on June 14th at a cost of $5.00 and the dance for the grade 8's is on June 21st at a cost of $10.00.

​Grade 8 prom tickets will be sold today in Ms. Jardine's room from 12:35 to 12:55. Each ticket is $10.00. Guest passes available upon request.

Any Quebec Trip students still wanting to purchase canteen tickets, can do so up until tomorrow.

​Intramural council members are asked to give Mr Irvine their $10.00 by Friday.

A reminder of the Crossman Mile Road Race that will be held this Saturday. Please see Mr Irvine for more details.

Any bake sale items not sold tonight at the Scavenger Hunt will be sold tomorrow.

The grade 8 dragsters will be judged tomorrow first period. If your dragster is not here, please have it here by first period tomorrow morning.

We will be selling freezies at noon each day this week. Cost is $1.00.

A reminder to all students, the Crossman Mile road race will take place this Saturday in our neighbourhood. Registration is at 9:00 a.m. at the Kay Arena this Saturday morning.

Mrs Murray would like to congratulate all the musicians on their performing with the MHS band. Well done! Please return your band shirts by the end of the week.

​Students that normally catch bus 99 or bus 70 at 313 Gauvin Road, will have to walk to Lou McNarin School to catch these busses. We will not have access to this stop for the remainder of the school year.

There will be a LGBTQ support dance on Friday, May 25th from 7:00-10:00 at the Crown Plaza. Cost is $5.00.

In intramurals today, 7D will play 7B @ 12:15 and 6F will play 6C @ 12:35.

Running club has been changed from today until tomorrow after school.

There will be an important last band rehearsal today during first period. Mrs Murray will be sharing important information about when and where we need to meet at McNaughton on Thursday evening.

Leadership will be running the annual "Jump Rope for Heart" event. Pledge envelopes have been sent home. Collection will be today, next Tuesday and Thursday.

There is an early dismissal today. All students will be dismissed at 12:15. There is no school for students on Friday and Monday.

Tuesday, May 21st is grade 7 immunization day. You will receive your 2nd dose of the HPV vaccine.

A reminder to all boys trying out for the softball team, the first tryout is today at 3:00. Be ready to go on the field at 2:55. If you cannot make the tryout, please let Mme. Saulnier know before the end of the day.

Any students who would like to submit artwork for display, please see Mrs. Dorris.

Please keep bringing in your old towels and blankets for the SPCA. We will be winding up this project on June 1st.

Friday, May 25th from 7:00-10:00 at Crowne Plaza in Moncton there will be a LGBTQ meeting for youth 13-18 years old.

David Myles concert is this afternoon at LMS.
