November 25th, 2021

Dear LMS Families,

We hope that everyone is doing well and staying safe. Volleyball and Cheerleading are underway, as well various clubs and activities for students to join. The colder weather has arrived and students should now be bringing warmer clothes for outside time. An extra mask and a water bottle are also still required for students to bring to school.

Parent-Teacher Interviews and Report Cards -The interviews will be done virtually, phone or email.  The report cards will be going out on Wednesday December 1st, and the interviews will be held on Thursday December 2nd from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and on Friday December 3rd from 8:30am to 11:30am.  Parents requesting an interview are asked to email the teacher directly and set up a time. The interviews will be limited to 10 minutes to reach as many parents as possible. The staff email list is located under “About Us” on our school website or follow the hyperlinks to retrieve the staff email list.

No School-Friday, December 3rd for students due to the interviews and staff PD.

Picture Re-takes will be on Monday, November 29th for those students who indicated that they wanted re-takes.

Toy Drive- The holidays are fast approaching, as is Leadership’s annual Toy Drive. For many children, this time of year usually means gifts, family, and happiness. Unfortunately, for some children that is not always the case. To help put a smile on every child’s face, we are asking LMS families to donate new or gently used toys, books, and games. Gift cards are also appreciated. Your generous donations will be accepted from now until December 13th. These gifts will be given to boys and girls of various ages; in hopes of bringing them some holiday cheer. All donations will be given to Moncton’s Headstart Toyland. Thank you for your support.

Student Community Holiday Initiatives-An LMS Holiday Helpers club will be leading our annual Fill the Bus campaign and will be ambassadors for Project Nice List. Please stay tuned for further info on these initiatives!
