Dear Parents and Guardians,
Currently, we are experiencing challenges that we have not faced before in our lives at home or in our province. Our priority remains keeping our children and ourselves healthy and safe. I am very impressed with the strength, patience, and resiliency that you are showing during these days of self-isolation and physical distancing.
As a school, we have recently established the best way to communicate with you and know which of our homes do not have access to technology for learning. We have also sent you resources to support and maintain good mental health.
The staff at Armstrong High/Salisbury Middle School have been busy collaborating online and are able to offer our students from grades 5-12 additional learning to the Anglophone East and the Early Education Childhood Sites that were sent out last week (see below for more information) .
As we move forward in these days and weeks to come, we would ask that you work with your children to stay current with teacher communication when possible. Our staff are working, like some of you, from home in many different situations during this state of emergency in our province. I truly believe we are all doing the best we can.
Stay positive and take care
