Hello on this Monday, October 16. This is Tami Van Wart calling from Harrison Trimble with a couple of important messages for the week.
Tomorrow afternoon our grade 11 and 12 students will be bussed to the Moncton Coliseum so they can take part in the annual AAROA tour. Universities from all across Atlantic Canada will be
there to answer questions on their educational programs. Parents and guardians of children of all ages are invited to attend tomorrow evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Wednesday, October 18 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. As a result of the tour, there be NOT BE A WIN
BLOCK tomorrow. Period 1 classes will be starting promptly at 8:40. All students are to be in classes at this time. The bell schedule for tomorrow is:
Period 1 – 8:40 – 9:40
Period 2 – 9:50 – 10:45
Period 3 – 10:50 – 11:45
Lunch – 11:45 – 12:45
Period 4 – 12:50 – 2:00
Period 5 – 2:05 – 3:15
On Wednesday of this week, there will be no school in the afternoon for
high school students. High School teachers in the district will be taking part in professional learning. Busses will be running at 12:00 this day. Students will not be permitted to be in the building that afternoon as there will not be appropriate
supervision. The cafeteria will also be closed this day.
Finally, a reminder that progress reports will be sent home with your child this Friday. You will be receiving five separate reports as each teacher has completed a separate report for each
student. We feel this will give you the most accurate picture of where your child stands academically at this point.
Thank you and enjoy your day.
