would like to share with you.

It is time
to start thinking about getting involved in your school. Cheerleading tryouts
will be all this week at HTHS from 6-8 pm. Weather permitting, the tryouts will
be on the field. If not we will move in to the gym. Please wear proper attire
and bring water. We hope to see you there.

be the first week of school. It is suggested that you bring gym clothes with

The end of the school year is upon us, and with that, the end of our reading challenge. If you have been reading diligently this year, make sure you get your records in by the end of the day, this Thursday. You can submit your
evidence directly to Mr. DeVito in Room 315, or to your own English teacher.
Safe Grad: Grads can come by Mme Noel’s room (Room 113) to pick up registration forms today and tomorrow.
Registration and payments can be made directly to Mme Noel on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of next week. She will be set up in the lobby. Grads must return their registration form and pay the fee no later than June 6th. Fee is $10 for grad and $10
for your guest.
Chantel Arsenault, School Nurse, will be available today and next Monday, which will also be her last day for the year. If you would like to set up an appointment to see her, stop by her office, Room 355, sometime today.

Harrison Trimble Drama is pleased to present an evening of two plays: "Uncool," directed by Emma Lushman, and "So You Wanna Be A Cheerleader," directed by Alicia Wilson. Both directors are Grade 12 students right here at HTHS. You can
see both plays on Tuesday, May 14 only! Show time is 7:00 pm, and tickets are available at our main office, on SchoolCash and at the door. The cost is $10 for students and seniors and $12 for adults. We hope to see you there - both plays are really funny
and it will be a great evening of entertainment.

Professional Learning Day for Teachers on March 22nd. No school for students.
Parent Teacher Interviews will be held on April 4th 6-8pm and April 5th 1-3pm. Interviews will take place in the gym on a first come first served basis. No school for students on April 5th.

Grade 9 immunization forms are past due. Even if you are not receiving the vaccine, the form must be signed by a parent/guardian and returned to the office ASAP.

- Winter semi-formal tickets will be sold from the office this week. Student fees must be paid in order to purchase a ticket. Winter formal is December 13th
7-10 at HTHS. Guest tickets can also be purchased from Mrs. Van Wart next week, but you must sign up your guest this week. Sign-up sheet is in the office. Friday is the last day to sign up a guest. Tickets
are $10 for students and $15 for guests.
- On Monday next week, Harrison Trimble will be hosting our annual Winter Concert. There will be a variety of performances by many different groups, all just in time to get you in the mood for the season.
The show begins at 7:00 p.m. in our auditorium, and a free- will admission will be taken to help support our music department. We hope to see you there!

Yoga club will start today after school from 3:30pm to 4:15pm in the library. Wear comfortable clothing. Mats and blocks will be provided but feel free to bring your own. All

The Christmas Parade Committee will be meeting every day after school this week.
We now have ballots at the cafeteria to pre-order Christmas dinner which will be served on Thursday, December 13th. Cost is $7.25 for a full turkey dinner including

The District Education Council, along with representatives from ASD-E and EECD are holding a School Naming Contest for former students of and those currently attending Evergreen
Park School and Northrop Frye School. Students of two aforementioned feeder schools can submit suggestions for the name of the new Middle School between November 21st and December 21st. The school is currently under construction in the North End of Moncton
and opening in the Fall of 2019. The School Naming Committee will consider all submissions and choose three to present to the Province for consideration in early January. The three winners will be given the choice of a $50 gift certificate to any of these

Come join staff and students of Harrison Trimble high school for 3rd annual Chapters Night in support of literacy at our school. Twenty percent of eligible purchases will go towards
much-needed books for department. This event has been a huge success for the school the last two years and it's a great way to kick off holiday shopping while enjoying a Starbucks latte, talented student musicians, and supporting literacy at our amazing high

Cross Country practice for all grades after school today.
Breakfast Club is looking for volunteers. All you need to do is donate one hour a week of your time. There is a sign-up sheet outside of the SC office and a brief meeting in Room 211 at the beginning of lunch for all interested.
There will be a meeting for all students interested in becoming Grade Reps on Tuesday in Room 214 at the beginning of lunch. This is a mandatory meeting for anyone wanting to be a Grade Representative.
Students who do not have a student ID or who have lost their 2017-2018 ID are still permitted to attend the dance. No guests are permitted to attend. Cost of the dance is $7 at the door.

As you are likely aware, HTHS
is undergoing upgrades to our facility as the second wave of a mid-life upgrade
to our school. While this is exciting news for our school community the work is
extensive and the time lines for completing the summer work have been tight. As
a result we will be delaying the opening of school to students by 2 days. The
grade 9 students were scheduled to return to school on Tuesday September 4th
and the rest of the students on the 5th. As a result of the delay,
the grade 9 students will now begin school on Thursday the 6th and
the rest of the students joining them on the Friday the 7th. We
apologize for the delay and thank you for your patience as our school receives
these much needed upgrades.

The annual provincial math competition was held last Thursday at the Universite de Moncton. Congratulations to Jon Ryu in Grade 9, who placed 1st in the Anglophone East district. He also placed 1st for the combined Anglophone

• A big thank you to anyone who bought ribbons and donated to the Humboldt Broncos on Thursday! In just one period we raised $846 for the families of the victims.

• Congratulations to the HTHS concert band and vocal ensemble who both performed at the Greater Moncton Music Festival concert last night. Both groups performed excellently! There are no practices tonight.
• Congrats to the girls rugby team for taking home 2nd place in the Simonds High Ruggers Challenge this weekend. The girls went 3-2 and defeated Moncton High in the last game to take home the silver. Regular season kicks off next Monday
when we host Tantramar at 5pm.
