Good morning from Frank L. Bowser School,
A reminder that we will be hosting Show and Share this evening
and tomorrow morning. The school will be open from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm tonight
and from 8:30 am to 11:30 am tomorrow morning, Friday April 5th.
There will be NO SCHOOL for students tomorrow, April 5th.
This event will be a form of Parent Teacher Interviews however
your child is requested to attend. Students have prepared a portfolio of
samples of the wonderful work they do day to day at our school and will be looking
forward to the opportunity to share with their loved ones. Examples of
student art work and other accomplishments are adorning the walls of our halls
in order to further the celebration of the successes of each individual student
who attends Frank L. Bowser School. Although teachers will be available
for short conversation regarding your child, we remind you that you are always
welcome, anytime throughout the school year, to schedule a sit-down meeting
with the individuals who teach and care for your children each day.
Classroom teachers have been in touch regarding how they would prefer to
schedule a timeslot for you and your child to participate. If you have not heard from your child’s individual
homeroom teacher at this point, please call the school in order to seek
clarification. All of us at Frank L. Bowser School are very excited for
the opportunity to host you in your child’s learning environment and share the
wonderful things happening in our classrooms.
Lost and Found items will be displayed outside of the library in
the lower hallway. Any items that are
not claimed will be donated to a local charity next week in order to make room
for the last three months of the school year.
Members of our Playground Committee will be present at a table
set up close to the office. There will
be information available as well as an opportunity to sign up to volunteer your
time throughout the build happening from June 4th -June 10th. Various time slots will be available to sign
up for between 8am and 8pm each day. Please
stop by the table for a chat and to receive answers to any questions you may
have regarding this very exciting initiative.
Finally, a reminder that the Home and School meeting scheduled
for April 10th at 6pm will include guest speakers Jenna Bamford, FLB's Guidance Counsellor, and Bryan
Butler, retired RCMP Officer who will be presenting on the issue of internet
Please feel free to contact firstname.lastname@example.org or the Home and School Facebook page (Frank L
Bowser Home and School) with any questions you may have regarding the
meeting on the tenth.
Thanks everyone and have a wonderful day today!
