November, our Grade 9 students participate in “Take Your Kids to Work Day.” This year, the event will be held
virtually. The date of the virtual tour
is Wednesday, November 4th.
Grade 9 students are encouraged to join the tour virtually and
participate in the organized activities.
The link to the tour has been shared with all Grade 9 students on their
English Language Arts TEAMs site.
Pictures have gone home with students in Grades 6 through 12 this week. We ask that you place all orders online at
mylifetouch.ca. All the information is
inside the package going home. If you are unable to place your order online,
please connect with the Admin Assistant at the school – sometime before
November 2nd - and she will communicate an alternate plan to online

have heard from Dr. Jennifer Russell that our zone is on the trajectory to
return to YELLOW – perhaps later this week. This is very positive news, and that
announcement would be made officially by Public Health. The switch to ORANGE has been
challenging on families, communities, and schools. Across Canada, we are seeing an increase
number of cases which could indicate that returning to ORANGE may be a
possibility for us at some point.
now, I echo the message of Public Health – It is important that we each
remain vigilant. Wearing masks is one
step we can take – Hand washing and Physical Distancing are two other important
steps. Each student at this school – and each home they
represent – should be very proud of the work they are doing every day to keep
schools open. Students – I am very proud
of each of you. Everyone at Caledonia is
doing their part to stop the spread of COVID-19.
