March 18
March 18, 2021

Hello everyone.  Today is Thursday, March 18th and this is Mrs. Godfrey with some messages from Caledonia Regional.

The Guidance Counselor and Vice Principal have started the course selection process for High School students.  If you are entering Grade 9, 10, 11 or 12 in the upcoming school year, now is the time to start thinking about courses and pathways.  The week of April 6th, our Guidance Counselor and Vice Principal will review course selections and begin guiding students through the course selection process.  Parents with any questions about the course selection process are asked to contact our Guidance Counselor directly.  There is also a Course Selection Planning section on each student’s Guidance TEAMS site.    The Provincial High School Course Selection Guide is also available on the Anglophone East website.

Congratulations is extended to our Senior High Girls’ Basketball Team who won the COVID NBIAA Basketball Challenge banner for their division.  They will receive a banner and a $150 credit for a takeout team meal at a local restaurant of their choice.

A reminder that there is no school tomorrow – Friday, March 19th - for middle school students.  There is online and in school for all high school students.  Tomorrow is a scheduled in school day for Track A High School.  Track B will join their teachers online.

I continue to advocate for the re-opening of our cafeteria and there is a district meeting scheduled for tomorrow.  We currently do not have cafeteria services available at the school as they were cancelled due to lack of sales.  I will keep your posted.

Thank you for listening.  Have a wonderful day.
