BMHS Talk Mail June 16th

TALK MAIL MESSAGE                                                                        Tuesday, June 16th, 2020

It was great to see all the Grads in the building during the last few days. We are proud of all our graduates and we will be sending the link of the graduation ceremony this Thursday to all graduating students.

Graduates who are going to university or college in the fall need to make a request to have their final transcript sent to the university or college that they will be attending as soon as possible. Requests must be made through their “School Cash” online accounts. When making your request type in “Indicate FINAL MARKS” in the section titled “Reason for Request”. Please have all requests completed by June 19. After that date, the office cannot guarantee when it will be forwarded to the university or college.

In preparation for the next school year planning, we encourage families to return the following items to the school before summer: library books, team jerseys, instruments, textbooks, or any other materials that belong to the school. There will be bins placed at the main entrance of the school. Please place school items in the bins with your child’s name and each teacher's name identified on each item.

Report cards for grades 9 –12 will also be available for pick up in a DRIVE THRU style at the front entrance.  Please know your child’s homeroom teacher’s name to make pick up run smoothly.

WHEN: Wednesday, June 17th, Thursday, June 18th and Friday, June 19th

HOURS: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

WHERE: Main entrance

HOW: Please place items in the bins at the entrance in a plastic bag with your child's name and teacher name on each item.

School yearbooks will be passed out in the fall as they have yet to arrive. Grade 12 yearbooks will be available for pick up in the fall by a family member if the grad has gone away to university or college and is unable to pick it up themselves.

Teachers will be conductions a phone call survey this week regarding technology and planning for the fall. Please be prepared to answer a few questions so we can best support our students this fall.

Grade 12 students who did not participate in the graduation ceremony can pick up their diploma June 17.
