                           Oct 23 6:30pm-7:30pm

On October 22nd beginning at 7pm in the BMHS theatre, the guidance department will be hosting an information session for parents (and students if they wish to attend) who are interested in learning more about preparing for post-secondary education including scholarships, where to find them and how to apply.

On October 24th at 9AM, a representative from Queen’s University will be presenting to students in the library. Students interested in attending need to pick up a green activity form in guidance, have their period 1 teacher sign it, and return it to guidance before the 24th. This is a great opportunity for students who are considering Queen’s University as a post-secondary option to learn more about the university.

On Saturday, October 26th from 2-3:30 a representative from McGill University will be hosting an information session for prospective students in the Library of Bernice MacNaughton. This is open to students and parents. Students interested in attending can register at mcgillinmind.mcgill.ca

Over the next few weeks many colleges and universities are hosting open houses. This is a great opportunity for students to visit post-secondary institutions they are considering for after high school. A list of open house dates can be found on the Anglophone East School District Scholarship Webpage (aesdscholarships.wordpress.com). Students should speak with their guidance counsellor if they have questions or would like more information.
