TALKMAIL                                                           Friday, May 31st, 2019

Next week is the last week of classes with exams from Monday, June 10th - Friday, June 14th. The exam schedule is posted on our website.

Students will be asked to clean out their lockers on Friday, June 7th to take all of their belongings home for the summer.  Text books must be returned to subject teachers prior to the end of exam week.

Wednesday, June 5th at 7pm all parents/guardians and students are invited to celebrate with us our students’ excellence at the annual Awards Night in the BMHS theatre.

We are looking for parents to volunteer time to decorate for Awards Night.  Decorating will begin at 1:30 PM on June 5th.  A few volunteers is all it will take to transform the stage for the evening celebration.  If you are interested in volunteering an hour or two, please contact Mrs. Natasha LeBlanc at

Grade 12 students received a Graduation Activities Informed Parental Consent form on Monday, May 27th.  Please review this form for important dates for Grads, sign and have your child return to the office by Monday, June 3rd.  This form gives permission for your son/daughter’s name to be shared as a graduate with the local newspaper, the graduation ceremony program, grad photo to be included in the Grad Composite to name a few.  Please return these ASAP to the main office.

As is tradition at BMHS, we are asking the Grade 11 parents to donate a monetary contribution towards this year’s graduation reception.  We are suggesting a $20 contribution, but any amount would be greatly appreciated.   Donations can be made at school cash online or at the main office prior to June 14th.  Next year your child will receive the same benefit when they graduate.  We are looking for grade 11 parents to volunteer to help with the reception the evening of Graduation June 20th.  Please contact the main office or email

Out of bounds applications: If your child is attending BMHS as an “out of bounds” student you must re-apply for next school year.  Please have your child return the application form as soon as possible.

We kindly ask that parents check school cash online to ensure that all of your child’s fees have been paid prior to exam week.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact the main office.

Students interested in running cross country in the Fall should attend a meeting on Thursday, June 6th in Mr. Gallant’s room 109 at the beginning of lunch.  Runners of all grades and levels are welcome.  For more information please contact Mr. Allerston or Mr. Bryden.

Any students who wish to be an Ambassador to the new international students, leave your name and contact information with Mrs. Woodworth in room 216 before the end of the semester.
