Exam schedule – exams will be held
Monday – Thursday only unless a snow day occurs. Please refer to the website for the complete
SAVE the DATE: Guidance will be conducting a Parent
information session night for course selection on February 5th from
7-8pm in the Theatre. Students will be
selecting next year courses during homeroom in mid-February. Students will be given an opportunity at the
course fair to find out about 4 courses of their choice prior to course
selection. Please refer to the student
tab on the District website describing course offerings in the high school
Summer French Program for
Students in Grades 9 and 10:
Students will spend a
month at the Université de Moncton and learn French in a fun and engaging
atmosphere! They will attend morning French classes, afternoon workshops, and
will participate in a variety of outings. A day devoted to culture will be
organized at the Aberdeen Cultural Center where workshops will be given in
theatre, dance, cinema, music, visual arts, and an Acadian supper will be
served. The day will end with an evening of Acadian music. Throughout the
program, students will visit top attractions like Hopewell Rocks, Magic
Mountain, and Tree Go, and will participate in many more fun filled excursions.
Duration: Approximately 4
weeks (June 28- July 24, 2020) - Location: Université de Moncton, Moncton campus. Deadline for application for first term
students: January 17, 2020. Deadline for
application for second term students: March 13, 2020. Please contact your child’s French teacher
for more information.
Grade 11 students interested in applying for Co-Op Education next
year are to pick up application forms in either the office or Library. Completed applications are due Wednesday
January 15th. They are to be handed in at the library to either Mrs.
Helgason or Mr. Bryden. An information
session is being held in the auditorium Monday January 13th at the
beginning of lunch. A signup sheet will
be posted in the library where students are to sign up for interviews that will
be scheduled during exam week.
For athletes interested in playing for the BMHS Badminton team
this year there will be a meeting in room 112 (Mrs. Carpenter's room) On
Wednesday January 15th.

January 27 or Tuesday, January 28th as teachers prepare for 2nd
semester and finalize grades for 1st semester. Second Semester will begin January 29th.
