Holiday Bazaar 2018

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Our Holiday Bazaar is fast approaching!  On December 17th from 9-12 (snowdate is Dec. 18th), students will have the opportunity to select and purchase holiday gifts for their loved ones.  This sure makes for some memorable gifts!!!

Each class will go to the Holiday Bazaar (in the gym) with their teacher.  While there, students will get to choose one special gift for each person s/he lives with.  Each item at the Bazaar costs $1.00.  On the day your child visits the Bazaar, it would be a great help if you send your child to school with his/her money in a Ziploc bag (or an envelope), along with a list of names (or pre-made gift tags with names) of the family members your child is buying for.  This especially helps out our volunteers when it comes to labelling gifts for the little ones!  Remember that your child is buying one gift per person in their household.

We are in need of donations for our Bazaar.  Each year, we have a variety of tables to shop at - Mom, Dad, Toys, Baby, Christmas, Books and others.  If you have some gently used items that you would like to donate (especially Dad items), that would be very much appreciated!  We are also looking for donations of gift bags, tape, gift tags/labels and wrapping paper.  You can bring the items to the main office.

Lastly, to make this event a success, we rely on the help of volunteers.  We are in need of volunteers to help set-up for the event on Sunday, December 16th at 3:00 pm.  We also need volunteers on the day of the Bazaar starting at 8:30 until approximately 1:00 (cleanup).  At the Bazaar, volunteers are needed to work the gift tables, wrap gifts and to float around helping the children find that perfect gift.  Come for the whole morning, or for an hour.  This event is a ton of fun to help out at.  The excitement in the gym that morning is contagious!  If you are able to help out in any way, please contact:

Thank you!
