Moncton Wildcats visit Northrop Frye School. NFS recipient winners for an All Star Assembly! Wildcat players recently spoke to our Grade 4, 5 and 6 students about the importance of being an All Star in school, and in life.  Contact Tara Glencross for more information.

 

Grade 4 Northrop Frye School students recently began a unit on habitats and ecosystems.  Devoted STEM time has been allocated and students are creating an invented organism that fits into a chosen habitat. Students get to be creative and make an organism that can move, protect itself from predators, and create the habitat around them. Contact Katherine MacGregor for more information.

 

Portage Atlantic visits and presents to Grade 8 students from Northrop Frye School.  Portage Atlantic is a residential treatment centre for youth between the ages of 14 – 21 years, who are experiencing substance abuse problems.  Contact Shawnie Moss for more information.

 

Northrop Frye School receives assembly from MADD Canada.  MADD Canada's School Assembly Programs bring high-energy drug and alcohol impaired driving awareness and risk reduction messaging to the world of education. Youth and school programming have been a key component of MADD Canada’s youth services, education and awareness initiatives since 1994.  Contact Megan Wilson for more information.

 

Northrop Frye School Vice Principals, Tara Glencross & Matthew Dixon become

“Pie My VP’s,” recipients as student body raises over a $1000.00 for the

Moncton Hospital Extraordinary Care Campaign.  Monies raised will support the opening of a Maternity New Born Unit and a Cardiac Care Unit.  Contact Jillian Fraser and Tara Glencross for more information.
