Next week at FLB:
Site preparations will begin on Monday May 27th to prepare for the build of the Rebecca Schofield All World Super Play Park from June 4th-11th. The committee is looking to fill many evening volunteer shifts for the building of this wonderful park. The tasks at hand range from food preparation, child care, to skilled labour and construction. This initiative is also in the final fundraising stretch and still looking to raise the remaining ten thousand dollars of their twenty five thousand community donation goal. Please visit https://rebeccashcofieldpark.com/ for information on ways to take part and donate.
Thank you in advance for your participation!
The three Grade 5 classes held a circuit challenge on the play park structure during their physical education class on Thursday, May 23rd to see the total number of circuits that could be completed. These circuits were then converted to meters completed then to kilometers. The students ran or walked a cumulative total of 170km which is almost the distance from Riverview to Fredericton or Charlottetown. The objective of this activity is to ask for a contribution of prepackaged snacks that can be
offered to the many volunteers who will be working at our school during the next few weeks. Any donations are welcome!
