At this time, Academics take a backseat to Social-Emotional Wellness
Hello families,
The most important thing at this time is for your child to be happy!
If they are anxious about the Covid-19, please have some fun with them!
Have lots and lots of outdoor time in the sun, exercise and proper nutrition!
Play some board games, have creative time, play with blocks, create some art, woodworking, painting, decorate for Easter, baking in the kitchen and talk about fractions,  teach them household chores, read to them, watch a documentary about animals or history, etc.
Please dont't worry about teaching academics as everyone across Canada is affected. Focus on their mental & physical health. We will focus on academic when we return to school. I am looking forward to seeing them soon.
