University of New Brunswick Open House

UNB's Virtual Open Houses will be October 16th (UNB Fredericton) and October 23rd  (UNB Saint John). Students can RSVP online at: https://www.unb.ca/admissions/recruitment-events/virtual-open-house.html

They will be showcasing faculties and programs, student support services, residence, and scholarships. You'll be able to choose from a variety of engaging and informative sessions and talk to our staff in real-time.  All attendees will be entered into a draw to win their choice of a MacBook Air or iPad Pro.

Plan to take part in the following activities:

  • Faculty information sessions, featuring professors and students from each of StFX's core faculties.
  • A drop-in academic showcase.  Stop by the virtual booths to speak with faculty and students from every single academic department on campus.  This is a great opportunity to ask any questions you have about academic programs.
  • Student services showcase.  Learn about the academic and personal supports on campus to help ensure your success.
  • Complete and submit your application to StFX free of charge.

Ever thought of becoming a doctor?  Get a taste of what it's like to be a medical student at Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick (DMNB). In this virtual workshop for interested middle to high school-age students where you'll:

  • Get a walk-through of the admissions process
  • Break down the MCAT (Medical College Admission Test)
  • Attend a medical school-style lecture and learn some hands-on skills
  • Ask Dr. Brent Young your questions about being a doctor
Spaces are limited, so please contact Michaela Finnamore (michaela@uosfc.ca) to reserve your spot before Friday, October 29, 2021.

Preference will be given to Indigenous students.

Attention Gr 12 Students! University of Guelph

The University of Guelph is hosting a presentation specifically for high school students in Eastern Canada!

  • Tuesday, November 9th from 6:00pm to 7:00pm
The presentation will include a comprehensive introduction to the University of Guelph and will cover everything from admissions, scholarships, academic programs, student services such as clubs and organizations, athletics, residence, meal plans, and the City of Guelph.  At the end of the presentation, there will be a chance for students to have their questions answered live!
Below is the Zoom registration link.  Students are encouraged to individually register in advance for this webinar.  The meeting link will automatically be emailed to you.  Students will be able to join the meeting on their own devices, which will give them the opportunity to join wherever you may physically be and ask any questions you may have.
